Performing Guideline

Other than having a eye-catching mascot costume, you need a good mascot performer to be success in your promotional campaign using mascot. You must recruit a right person to be trained as mascot performer.

Characteristic of good mascot performer

Having standard body size. Performer must not be too tall or too short and not over weight. Our mascot is normally made to fit the person with 170-185 cm. height. Over weight performer may not comfortably wearing the costume then cannot have a good performing.
   
Performer should be a friendly person who can get along well with people of all age especially good with children. Generally, he must be gentle and patient in manner.

Performing Tips

The mascot costume character can only make gesture and must not talk in all cases.
   
Performer should understand the mascot character’s personality and express or make body movement according to the mascot’s personality. Performer should practice though experience or in front of a mirror. (As Girly Bird are different to Tough Tiger)
   
In dealing with children: Little baby may be scared by mascot costume. If performer notice that, it is probably best to move away. Otherwise try to get down on their level (only if mascot costume allow). Kids with age of 3-10 would really love the mascot character. A gentle approach is always rewarded. Kid older than 10 years are inclined to treat a character as an object of fun for physical assault and teasing. Performer must not loose his temper and try not to react in anyway. Looking for authority on him to handle.
   
Don’t remove any part of your costume in public. This may ruin the product image.
   
The performer should wear only light cloth. Avoid performing in direct sun and outdoor on the hot days. Keep drinking water or electrolyte replacement drink to keep your body fluid in proper level.
